Quality Assurance Program

Key Objectives

  • To ensure that all network rules and standards are complied with to the satisfaction of all credit unions and their members.

  • To provide the guidelines within which the Board of Directors and management shall operate in order to detect, evaluate and resolve issues regarding quality that include, but are not limited to, matters of both service and neutrality.

UsNet will oversee and maintain the integrity of the shared branching system in New York state utilizing various strategies. These strategies include, but are not limited to: increasing awareness & commitment levels to network standards within participating credit unions, conducting a mystery shopper program, monitoring direct credit union feedback via periodic surveys, and improving communication between participating credit unions & management regarding quality assurance issues.

Mystery Shopping

The mystery shopper program surveys participating credit unions annually to measure their satisfaction levels regarding all aspects of the network and ensure neutrality.

Neutrality has always been the pillar of UsNet’s shared branching network. Strong neutrality rules are in place with UsNet so credit unions can feel comfortable sending their members to acquirer locations.

A commitment to neutrality is established with new credit unions from the on-set of signing up with UsNet. Training is provided to all credit union staff to serve members in a neutral environment, as it is key to the survival of the network. Cross-selling or soliciting members is strictly prohibited, and all non-transaction business is directed to the member’s home credit union.
