Contact: Public Relations Coordinator USAlliance FCU Signs with UsNet (Albany, NY) – Universal Sharing Network (UsNet) is happy to announce that USAlliance FCU has joined its shared branching network. The credit union, which was chartered in 1966 and serves in excess of 38,000 members, has joined as both an issuer (a credit union that allows its members to perform transactions at CU Service Centers) and an acquirer (a credit union that opens its branches to members from other shared branching participants for financial transactions). As a network member, USAlliance FCU will operate seven, soon to be eight, CU Service Centers – five in the greater Boston area, one in New York City and one at their main office in Rye, NY. The eighth location will be located in Florham Park, NJ. “We’re pleased to have USAlliance FCU as part of our shared branching network,” said UsNet’s Chief Operating Officer Marc Inger. “Shared branching is a cooperative effort, one that goes to the heart of credit unions ideals and their ‘people helping people’ philosophy.” UsNet (Universal Sharing Network) has provided credit unions with a gateway to the national shared branching network since 1993. They are partnered with the largest network provider, CO-OP Shared Branching, which offers participating credit unions and their members’ access to more than 3,400 CU Service Centers across the United States.
